I designed a poster and animated advertisement for French funk-jazz band Cortex’s 2024 summer tour, capturing the energy and rhythm of their signature sound. The animation was created using 28 individually designed artboards, printed on toned paper and played frame by frame to achieve a rich, textured effect. By combining handmade elements with digital enhancements in Adobe After Effects, I brought a tactile, organic feel to the visuals while maintaining a dynamic, contemporary edge. The final piece embodies the vibrancy of Cortex’s music, blending analog charm with modern motion design.
